Have you recently competed your quest of searching Edmonton condos and finally made the decision to buy one? If so, you can now move onto the next phase of home buying: moving in. Most new home owners tend to focus their time and energy into solving the obvious problems such as choosing a moving company or figuring out how to get their finances in order to pay off their mortgage.

However, there are other smaller, albeit, still important things that need to be take care of such as finding a family dentist. It's not always easy obtaining a dentist that is accepting new patients so if you're new to the area you're going to want to get started on that search right away. Before you even move into your new home you should take a look around the Whitby homes area you will be living in to see if there are any dental clinics nearby. If there are you should walk into each one oft them to see if they are taking on new clients. If they aren't they might be able to provide you with phone numbers of those that are.

It can be pretty difficult to find a dentist, especially without a referral, so another option you have is to ask your current dentist for a recommendation. They might be able to alert you to some dentists in your new city that will take you on as a client. Even if your family or cosmetic dentist in Aurora can't refer you to anyone it doesn't hurt to ask.

If you consider yourself a computer savant and don't mind spending a few extra minutes surfing the web you can also look for a Victoria or Aurora dentist online. Every Canadian province and US state has a dental association with an online presence that includes a section on their website to finding a dentist or a dentist directory. Use the contact information provided by the dental associations to cold call as many dentists as you can until you find one that is accepting new patients.

If after you move you still can't find an orthodontist in Coquitlam or family doctor in Thunder Bay you can wait awhile until you're settled in enough and have made friends with some of the locals. Hopefully one of your new friends or co-workers will have a family doctor they can refer you to.
